Apparently in Japan cousins can get married! Which comes as a surprise to me because in the U.S.A. this is usually not the case as far as I know. Mizuki is chasing after Aoba, but it seems like Aoba just isn’t feeling it. While there was very little baseball in episode 20, Cross Game still shines.

I’ve spent the weekend playing catch up with Cross Game. I enjoyed catching up, mostly because I enjoy baseball and also the characters in the story. While episode 19 contains no baseball, it does a good job of focusing on character development, mainly Kou and Aoba. Also a new character is introduced!

Okawari! Yep, I am not sated yet. With so many potentially good series this summer, it is hard to make a decision which series to effectively watch and perhaps even blog. So here’s to confirm or veto my first good impressions on the eight series I picked. Don’t worry, I will (try to) keep it short this time.

Of course, I hope to reduce that number to a strict minimum. After all, there still are plenty of long seasoners from spring (Basquash!, Cross Game, Phantom, Saki, Tears to Tiara, Valkyria Chronicles) I am currently watching and blogging, so I will have to limit my choices here. (Even if I rarely do episodical posts now anyway, but it still is a lot to watch and muse about.)

Announced today was the acquisition of Kannagi – Crazy Shrine Maidens by Bandai today. The biggest shocker is that Bandai also announced that the first volume is right off production and can be ordered starting today on Amazon and tomorrow on the Rightstuf. Just to top it all off, Kannagi started streaming today on Anime News Network, with two episodes being added every week.

Long overdue review, but I had the feeling that episode 11 would end the current arc so I wouldn’t need to conjecture about the end of that game. But heck, I love this series.

Yeah, yeah. Where’s the real content, etc, well I’m working on it. As you must have noticed at melative, I’ve caught up to Cross Game, and I’m loving it so far – but I have yet to write a post about it. Might follow in the next few days, if I can get my mind off TF2. But first, I just finished watching the latest DC arc, and… dunno. I’m kind of sobered up.
