Does the manga or VN ever explain why his late grandfather wanted him to attend an all-girl’s academy? Seems pretty random, or they could have explained in the anime and I just forgot.

Sweet mix, and lol Ti-83. I’m only familiar with the anime, but comparing the sources is good stuff. Definite find time to roll the dice some more :) So Suzuka replaces this one in the rolls. Ah.

I must say very nicely said for Otoboku. I have watched the anime and enjoyed this series from beginning to end, but I have yet to read the manga or played the visual novel. Reading your post makes me want to actually read the manga as well as get the game.

Also I want to commend you for making your post spoiler-free. =)

My vote is for Negima. Have read the manga (most of it but not all) and seen all of the series including the OVAs and OADs.
