Well Nyan Koi is funny and is definitely worth a try, but take caution if you are allergic to cats and/or hearty harems.
Very good choice with Aoi Bungaku. If you’re looking for other gems this season, you might find a good one with Kimi ni Todoke or Letter Bee. Or dark and twisty in a very childish way, go for Kaidan (Thriller) Restaurant.

I’m not really watching any of these except Trapeze–I think your summary of it is pretty much dead on. Nyan Koi did look pretty amusing, so I may try it. My pick of these first season fall shows is Aoi Bungaku, because I’m dark and twisty like that.

@RyanA: Yeah, this season does not really raise much interest from my side, so I’ll probably just take it slow (intentionally, this time). Wish I had given Kobato a fairer chance, but I really couldn’t get myself to watch past the first ten minutes.

@Reltair: Heh, harem. Hope I didn’t fall into the fanservice trap. Well, as long as it’s still related to cute cats and solving feline problems, I guess it’s fine by me.

@Rinne: Lower thy shield, lesser knight, for thou art a true loli lover. Stand with pride!
Otoshimono is okay, but… yeah, more in the next post. BTW I forgot Winter Sonata.

Reltair tells truth.

Despite my large plate, Sora no Otoshimono, 11eyes, and that Nyanderful anime are probably the 3 series this season that I actually look forward to each week (Darker than Black to a lesser extent, only due to a bellydancing Suou). Japan needs to get on the ball. DELIVER ME DEEPER STUFF. Of course, I’m not saying Sora no Otoshimono and 11eyes are “deep.” That’s be like me saying I like loli, which clearly isn’t true. *Shields Up*

As for the non-sequel anime, I think you got them pretty much covered. Can’t recall anything to add to the list.

P.S.: Ichinose Nagi is awesome.

Nyan Koi! ^^ Yea, I enjoy this, although episode 4 didn’t do much to shake the tendency of series to give off an altered vibe. Still nice though. Kobato is an easy watch, and though I enjoy Ichizon, it’s really just a load of service and culture… woo woo, will be on lookout for the next series.

No reason to rush through this season imo.
