As announced, I am extensively playing Ar Tonelico, and since I suck at multitasking I don’t really have much time to watch animu. I should dish out a batch post once in a while though, because this current PS2 addiction might last a while – I received Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 this morning, and Ar Tonelico 2 should be in my mailbox tomorrow too. So… unless I tire of gaming, it might be a while until I can do episodicals (I told you, I suck at those!) but then again, I think I’d be better off with just quarter- or mid-seasonals or so.

SO. Have some Riannon pics. Reminds me, I need to catch up to Tears to Tiara soon, I’m 6 episodes behind again.

Looking at the following pictures, you may notice that they are of varying quality – I blame my photography inexperience. I placed the figurine in the middle of the sunshine, and took pictures like mad. I didn’t notice it on the camera, but on the computer indeed, the pictures looked heavily overexposed. :|
As I was processing a small batch of pictures, I just slapped autocontrast on them and let them pass, but some were so awful I tried fiddling with contrast values. I had to remove a LOT of contrast to make the pictures look less exposed – but had to compensate with more saturation. That’s a long way from my usual quick noise removal fix. (Note that I did not mess with the cactus flowers! Should’ve reduced saturation especially on the red petals, but eh… didn’t work well the first time, and I lacked motivation to do it better, so I just let it be.)

Well, you may or may not notice the varying quality of the pictures yourself, I think I could have done a better job at postprocessing. Then again I didn’t really want to spend hours in PS for these few pictures, because I want to resume playing Ar Tonelico ASAP.

By the way, you guessed it right: I got this fig at a HLJ special sales price again. And of course, it is still on sale, so get grabbin’. (It’s almost as cheap (or expensive) as the new Riannon Nendo, lol.)
