Mid-Season Back(b)logging…

neko’s Everyone’s grudge

As much as I am used to back(b)logging, I still hate to do so. Let’s say I’m simply hitting another procrastination streak, and I am feeling very, very sleepy lately. I blame my DS.
Usually, when I am about to finish a game, I try to devote a little more time to it so I can leave it behind afterwards. However, I miscalculated FFTA A2 pretty badly, and at almost 100 hours of play it feels like I am still not close to the end. Why, it really has been such a boring game anyway up to now… but I can’t ignore it just yet. Perhaps the end will do justice to my high expectations I had, having played the prequel and having looked at the (relatively) high ratings in magazines.

Ah well, why am I even justifying my short absence here? I am not even a week behind Hyakko and Index yet… And no, it’s not to warn you that this backlogging will last much longer.
I guess it’s because I know that when I don’t post for a couple of days, people already start forgetting about this blog. Unlike those hueg team blogs these days that are proliferating like cancer on Haste, this blog has no frequent commenter support nor other writer(s) (yet) to fill in the void days. So here’s my updating on your short attention span, guys. :D

But hey, even if I don’t post, I do at least keep my Twitter updated with news about my boring life, and occasional musings and explanations why I’m procrastinating. If you haven’t noticed yet, it’s on the sidebar on the right as well.

Long story short, I am still alive, and I will blog about Hyakko, Index and my one day Venice trip very soon. However, I will leave for Venice next Sunday again, until Tuesday because I still have a couple of things to take care of there… but of course I will write about it before the weekend (I hope).

Shifting positions so disrupts one’s flow of this anime blogging. Uwa, I’m still backlogged on ef, Hakushaku, and Mouryou for Autumn. also, Index 5+6 is looking like Index 5+6+7 lol Cheers :)

@Ryan: Shit, really? ~.~; I haven’t watched it yet but duh, I really thought they’d be wrapping it up with this episode. Ah well… I feel much less like watching it now. :(

Out of curiousity, have you played FF7? :P

  4. nekosasu says:

@X10A: Ages ago. Three times, iirc. And I could play it yet again :P

While I was not pleased with what they did to the first half of Index 06 (not pleased at all), they did wrap up the first novel in that episode. And the hospital aftermath in the second half was very well done. J.C.Staff (and Nishikiori) really are the best when it comes to touching and humorous character interaction.

I’ve done it 4 times, messed around with savefiles as well to get Aerith into the final battle!

@Sixten: Ah, I’m relieved. I can imagine what they must have done in the end of the episode, I know it’s already pretty awesome in the manga. But I wonder what you mean with the first half… Darn, I must watch it. Really. Soon…

@X10A: Blasphemy! Dead people should remain dead! XP

    I found another neko-chan =D

I understand what you mean!!! I also don’t have a lovely team blog, so I operate all on my own. I also don’t play games anymore =( since my PS2 broke. *kicks PS2 in anger*.

  9. nekosasu says:

@Maura: I could lend you mine while I’m busy with the DS… but once I’m done I’d want to play Ar Tonelico… Aaah, so many choices, so little time.

…btw why am I answering comments and not writing new posts?? ~.~; grrr
