Delicious lo- cake for my blog’s anniversary!

Yar, Roughly three weeks after my birthday already follows the next one: Neko’s Thinkbox is turning 1 year old today!

Actually, this blog has first been set up by Maestro on the 12th of January, but I only posted on the 14th after having completed tweaking the theme for my needs. I was using an older style back then, of which I sadly only have this small screenshot from technorati.

I had planned something for this special occasion: to put a new WP theme to my blog or to create a wallpaper, but as always my different (game) occupations got the upper hand of mine and there goes nothing for today (that and I can’t draw with my tablet yet so duh) Too bad, Eruru will have to wait a bit longer… T_T

Anyway, here’s the mandatory stats:

WP signals that there are currently 93 posts and 217 comments
I had set my goal to be 100 posts by the 1st anniversary, but I guess I’ll keep that so I’ll have another reason to do a celebration post ^^

Here’s the number of hits/visits I had this year:

Not sure if that data is accurate, but that’s what the plug-in measured from Jan 19 2007 on – the hits/vists from the 14th to th 19th were most likely around 3000/800, so almost irrelevant.
…Couldn’t make 300k hits neither xD (most of those hits were spam bots anyway, like on every blog with such inflated numbers but hey it’s still fun to show off)

November and December seem to have been the busiest months, most likely because I (finally) had completed Baccano and the Timeline – actually, I think the last ep of Baccano was the most commented ever, closely followed by the Gundam SEED Destiny entry.

Anyway, a big thanks goes to everyone who contributed to my entries – comments keep this blog alive!

Also, a very huge thanks to Maestro who as you all know is the owner of Animeblogger.net. I have never met such a caring and friendly admin who really invests a lot of time on this despite his health problems – respect Maestro! Hope you will bear with my constant rants for the following year as well (and have some pangya rounds as well) ^^

Finally, these last thanks go to the few non-egocentric and non-elitist people on the #animeblogger IRC channel who often communicate with a newbie like me and who perhaps acknowledge me as their friend – a huge thank you for making that channel such a fun place!
