Hints in the anime are far less emphasised, but it shouldn't be too difficult to guess who Archer really were. I won't spoil it, though. As for the ending - I wouldn't exactly call that happy of good. Yes, there is a better ending, but only in the PS2 version of the game. Sadly. Meh. Too bad they went with Fate route. I wanted to see Sakura pwning other masters, like in the game, not handing her Servant to her moronic brother. But yes, I found FSN anime [and its dubbing] epic and possibly better than the first route of the game. Ps. What happened to your reviews of Spice & Wolf and Claymore? Did you lose interest in them? I suggest you play the original game of FSN I also liked the fate ending but... If you liked the Fate ending wait till you see the other 2 endings trust me you will like it even more than the ending in the anime or read the manga and listen to the drama CD those two adopted the other two endings.
