This will be a shorter entry since I’ve been wasting too much time on the previous one, and until now, not many things have happened. However, the few things I am reporting about are of very important significance. According to that, here’s my immediate reaction:

The more I expect things to suck, the more I get excited when I sense even the slightest amount of WIN. And there was some WIN indeed.

Crrraaawling iiiin my SHINNNNNNNNN…

I wasn’t really planning on writing an entry right now since I wanted to watch a lot of episodes at once. However, I just saw the new opening in episode 38. ‘Chemistry – Wings of Words’. And I must say……… Oh. My. God. …It sucks so badly I can’t stand listening to it. Unlike all the other openings in the Gundam SEED and GS Destiny series, they really had to screw it up for the last few episodes. They really couldn’t have chosen a much wittier and boring song than this. It doesn’t fit at all in the succession of those techno-rock songs of the likes of T.M. Revolution and HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR. Geez… I could have predicted it would suck, since I know that Chemistry is mainly pop music, but this was really really abhorrent.

But yeah, I didn’t just post a new entry to voice my frustration about this new Opening, even though there are still a few things that I’d like to rant about, especially about the opening animation. But the rest comes first, a lot of things also happened in these last few episodes as well. And… yeah, read on if you don’t mind rants and spoilers.

Edit: Well, the ending owns though. See-Saw = auto WIN.

As you might already have noticed (I bet you didn’t), I put a new theme on my blog. Still working on the colors and banners though, so bear with me in the meantime ^^ How do you like it so far?

FYI, it’s the new freshy2.0 theme. You can find it here.

Besides, I’m using widgets now, which enabled me to install a few useful plug-ins. Gonna try that thumbnail preview later on.

Edit: Disabled that relative date plugin, it might look good on other themes but it really doesn’t fit here.

Ughh… Neko’s sick. Sore throat, headache, cold, I guess that’s the major force required to keep him away from school for a day.
Bedridden, I had now plenty of time to watch episode 6 of Claymore. And I must say, I’m overwhelmed. This episode proved me once again that Claymore is an outstanding anime far beyond my expectations.

It’s been a long time since I was looking for some live Hare Hare Yukai dancers on Youtube, and most of them were… crappy. Now today I stumble across this video, and I must say this one looks pretty good, sync-wise! There are also plenty of cosplayers totally unrelated to the Haruhi anime, which made me laugh quite hard, especially during Mikuru’s part XD And the singing, well it’s not that bad, considering that Haruhi’s cosplayer has to do extreme moves. I need moar of such videos!

EDIT: And a funny live parody from the Ending of the TV version! Ahaha I lol’d!

After all that happened in the previous episodes, this was a rather unexpected change of pace. It really looked like a new story, which threw me off at first – Clare was nowhere to be seen… Only right before the end of the episode was I finally able to understand what the whole episode was about…
