Slowly getting there. Many fills and details are missing though.

I remembered some people in the #ab IRC channel asking for a WIP of this Eruru vector, and although I’m quite reluctant to show a WIP unless it’s near completion, I really don’t have anything to blog about in the moment, so at least this might keep this blog active, I hope. A few words on the vector so far… (where’s the rest? yes READ MORE T_T)

Hot news. I thought people were interested in the vector. Turns out, not at all, yay ignorance.Actually what’s the point, why do I even bother telling people, if noone’s going to read it anyway. Maybe I should spam my link into the channel as well maybe some good soul would click on it, lol.

A few words on the vector so far, I started watching Utawarerumono half a year ago (already). At about the same time I was completing my DESU… erm Rozen Maiden wall, which was entirely vector art. So after finishg Furra… I mean Utawarerumono I was (obviously) hooked and wanted to make a wallpaper of Eruru. Then I stumbled across the scan on 4chan (IIRC) and it immediately inspired me. It was the first time I imagined the setting all around the character, and yeah it was an ambitious project: Scenic wallpaper, vectored scan, painted background, etc. I can’t paint and I’m a real noob with the brushes but I thought I’d sort that out later on.

I started vectoring like a madman. A few weeks later I finished the outlines, and then… nothing, you guessed right. As anyone knows I am a notorious procrastinator and easily lose motivation after a while (see this blog? go figure).

Didn’t touch Illustrator in a long time. Then came life, its ups and downs, etc. Anyway, only recently, after watching Gundam SEED, did I feel the urge to wall again, but since I couldn’t find any nice Fllay scan yet (YES I DO LIKE HER go away you Fllay haters! >_<), I thought I might resume my Eruru vector. Yesterday and today, after some extensive *cough* maths studying and some Stepmania goodness, I added a few fills to the scan. Eruru is getting colors! wee ^^ If I kept this pace up I might be done with the fills by tomorrow, BUT. Considering that I'm juggling daily between studies, pangya, stepmania, Gundam Seed music (downloading GS Destiny btw), procrastinating, and of course vectoring, I doubt I can pull that through. Besides, school will start again on monday and now IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN OMGWTFKTHX.

It could be any other subject, really. Boring.

Exams are coming. And in the mean time there’ll be the final test papers, which I was supposed to study for the past 2 weeks for, but obviously… I didn’t do anything, and gave in to my sudden Gundam Seed addiction- add wallpaper, anime, blog *cough*, pangya and stepmania to the equation. Syntax Error! That’s definitely bound to go wrong!

Only thinking of all the material I got to study in physics… omg and all the other crap, chemistry, biology (easy but huge), maths (same), etc etc seriously makes my conscience go bad. But yeah, I’m as stubborn and lazy as always, and wait until the last minute to act. Ookiraku gokuraku! If I fail I’ll have missed my chance to study in Japan, lol. Seems like it’s not motivating enough to finally get my priorities straight.

Okay, 4 AM, off to sleep. I’ll post another WIP as soon as there’s some significant progress on the vector! Until then, mata ne! (and someone please gimme some advice on what new anime to blog about, there are so many and I guess the best ones are all being blograped… T_T help meeee)
